NEPA Compliance Documentation for
Telecommunications Facilities

The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 requires federal agencies to comply with certain environmental regulations. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has outlined these compliance requirements for facilities under their governance.

The FCC / NEPA Environmental Compliance Checklist

The FCC / NEPA Environmental Compliance Survey

These forms are used in compliance with the NEPA regulations. The investigation also includes: Biological Evaluation, Project Review by US Fish and Wildlife Service, and a Cultural Resources Survey. Communication with the State Historic Preservation Office, the Governor's office, and Indian Tribal Councils as necessary, are also included in the NEPA process.

There may be other documents and communication necessary for specific sites, depending on the location and history of the site.

Foree & Vann, Inc. is available to perform these services for you or to guide you in finding appropriate agencies to assist you during your pre-construction and construction stages for communications towers.
